San Fran

So, confession: I've been on spring break since last Friday.
Thats why my posts have been struggling, but I've decided that I'm willing to put aside the may wonderful activities I could be doing right now.. (Just kidding, its awkwardly 4:51 - too early for dinner but too late to do anything else..) and post for you all!

For spring break my mom and I traveled to San Francisco/San Carlos, Cali.
I've been trying to take some pictures so I thought I'd do this post like "This week through Instagram"
Hurr goes nothin'!

They had this distillery, Moss Beach Distillery (if that wasn't obvious..), and since I checked in there on Forsquare, I got a free drink (aka: a delicious bloody-mary)! Guess it pays to be creepy
The we stopped by Stanford, it was BEAUTIFUL. And yes, the leaf may seem slightly strange, but incase you didn't know - their mascot is a dancing tree.. Just throwin' it out there
ANNND this little nugget has slept with me every night.
Are you jealous yet? Its fine. He's precious.

Now I'm off to have dinner at a cute little place in Redwood city!
Have a happy Wednesday!

Back At It: What I'm Loving Wednesday

Reunited with "What I'm Loving Wednesday" and it feels SO good.
True story: I make little lists of things that I want, like, "need" (aka: also want) and think are cool throughout the week. I usually roll through them in my head at the end of the day, or I like them on tumblr (SO USEFUL!)
And every Wednesday that would roll around when I didn't post, I'd think to myself, "Dang nab it, this would be PERFECT for WILW..."
Now that you know what goes on in my head at least once a day.. I guess I should get to the moral of the story..

What I'm Loving This Wednesday!

1. All the new Bottoms at J.Crew! (read: Shorts, skirts, pants etc.)
I always thought I was a tops girl, you know? One of those girls that walks into a store and immediately runs to the nearest cute top that she sees? And by the end has her arms piled so high with shirts that her arms start to hurt and she has to sprint to try them in the dressing room? Yah. Thats totally me...or was me. After logging on to their website the other day, I realized J.Crew may have brought me over to the dark side. I found myself clicking from pants, to shorts, to skirts, and even to DENIM. Gasp. Don't tell the 7 pairs of F21 10$ jeans I have in my closet... I mean its no secret that J.Crew has fantastic chino shorts that come in all the colors of the rainbow and then some (5" for me! I roll dem babies up!), but this season they've managed to branch out and create tons of other classy and simple pieces that my closet and I would love to call our own...

Oh boy, this baby's a beaut. I may or may not already own two watches, ones that I don't even wear that often... but a girl can look right? (and dream that one day I'll actually look at my watch instead of digging in my purse and creating a huge commotion simply to check my phone..) This watch is the perfect mixture of masuline-sleek-classy-and-tortoise shell. Lord knows I luuuhh me some tortoise shell. Not to mention its not too overwhelming on a small wrist! Be sure to look for it in your nearest Norstrom.. or I mean, I ammm giving you the link, so it's actually only a click away!

3. Kiel Mead's "Forget Me Knot" Rings
I feel like these lovelies speak for themselves..
But really.. I mean, how cute are they!? They're meant to be given as a reminder of a memorable occasion, event or the simply wonderful person who gifted it to you (Ahem, non-existent boyfriend)... I think it'd be the perfect gift for a friend or loved one, and only 50$! Also, coolest part? These rings were made from the mold of a real string. Totes authentic.

Perfect for the docks or a dog that loves the water!
4.  The Fair Lead Dog Leashes
I can't remember how I stumbled on this great site otherwise I'd be more than willing to give credit where it's due - regardless I'm glad I found it! The Fair Lead was created by a female (woohoo gurlpowaa!) marine scientist & sailor who spent 10 years traveling and sailing the world and came back to the good ol' USofA. She returned with the brilliant idea of an eco-friendly, tangle-free and most importantly preciously nautical, dog collars and leashes! I think my Molly might be in need of one of these..

5. Society6's iPhone Cases
As most of you already know I'm addicted to phone cases, and I had recently gotten my addiction under control but once this site popped up I feel off the bandwagon all over again! These cases are fun, funky, or classic - and they let you browse all 1,451 pages of them. Plus, with the changing season these are perfect to introduce a new style to the iPhone's exterior. It'll thank you, I promise. You know what they all say,"Happy phone, happy owner."

Well thats all for this wednesday! But of course I've already begun my list for next week...
What are you guys loving!? Anything to share?
Happy half-way-to-Friday-day!

The Hustle and Bustle of Springtime

Its official: Its spring time.
Its been above 70 degrees here in good ol' middle of no where Indiana, for the past five days
and I couldn't be happier.
And with this transition into spring, THIS GIRL (me, obvi) is 100% ready to transition back into blogging.
I know I've been a bad blogger this year (end of 2011 and beginning of 2012, that is) and if there was some blogging confessional I'd be there in a heartbeat. But for now you will all just have to deal with my sporadic "spring revival" blogging technique.
Getting on with the show:
As I mentioned, spring is in full bloom here on DePauw's campus.
From people laying out in their bathing suits (only kind of awkward..) to classes being held in the adirondack chairs in the quad - its just fun to be on campus right now!

Also on da brain?
Springtime tunes.
You know, the ones you can roll down your windows and just jam to?
Oh yah, thats what I'm talking about.
Here's what I'm jamming to these days (when I make it out of the library to drive around, that is):
Say Yes Radical Something
Vibe To This : Radical Something (
Come With Me : Radical Something
Turn Up The Music : Chris Brown (Just for Swimmer Smanger, she's working on the dances right now - pretty impressive if I do say so myself, after all she is a ballroom and tap dancer)
Windows Are Rolled Down : Amos Lee (MUST HAVE)
Is It Love? Collin Mcloughlin
Get Down On It : Collin McLoughlin
Put In Work : Cris Cab
Turn You On : Cris Cab (And Shaggy (wasn't me..) is featured in this. Obvi a classic)
Until The Sunrise - Timeflies
All Night - Timeflies
Time Goes By : Timeflies (Check out this vid fosho, and if you haven't fall in love with Cal by 14 seconds... well you should reevaluate your life.)
Ex Games : Timeflies (May or may not be my life story summed up in 4 minutes)
Paranormal Frativity : Super Mash Bros.
Whoever She Is : The Maine
Everybody Talks : Neon Trees
Mirror : Lil Wayne Ft. Bruno Mars
Old Dirt Hill (Bring That Beat Bach) : Dave Matthews (feel free to clap along #guilty)
Got You : Mac Miller (Love to study to his stuff, too)
Missed Calls : Mac Miller (yeeeaauuh Mac, preach it.)
We 'Bout Love (Remix) : Sunny (of Aer)
Hot Whoomp! : Not Some Kid
Single & Drunk : Mike Posner (Just accept the fact that it's catchy...and that we've all had these nights at least once..)
Always on Time (Ja Rule & Ashanti Cover) : Town Hall (AH-MAZING, nice throwback)
One Thing : One Direction (I couldn't resist, they're just too precious, like little boys.. even though they're only slightly younger than me..nbd - and the dance in front of the red bus? Just too cute)
Wobble Baby : V.I.C (Obsessed and proud - it reminds me of a 21st century Mambo #5, oh what a 90s baby I am)
F*** that (I'mma Be Fine) : Audiodax (excuse the title, and the constant use of the F-bomb, regardless its a great "stick it to the man" or "you just broke my heart you JERK" song. Get singing)
And last but not least, CERTAINLY not least, the ever classy and classic:
Pimp Juice : Nelly (Why yes, since you asked, I do know all of the words)

...SO that list was longer than I expected, apparently I'm loving music these days!
Be back tomorrow with WILW!

Go enjoy the nice weather!
Until next time,
