"People think we look crazy, I think we look classy..

....But then again, thats only if you ask me." (My thoughts exactly hah)

There are three things that I'd like to discuss today..
sheesh, that sounds extremely formal..
How about: "Durr be, three thangs I wanna gab about to y'all 2day"? Yup. Much better.

First:
I can't explain how exciting it was to have so many comments and thoughts on my last post!
It made me so happy to come back into the blogging world with a big HURRAH!
I'm also glad to know that I'm not the only insane Dunkin' and trashy gossip addict out there.. haha

Second:
Just another Dunkin' story for everyone: Today I went into Dunkin' at my usual time - like 11.
And another one of my favorite workers was there.. She saw me, smiled and laughed, and the next thing you know she had my drink on the counter, perfectly made, with no questions.
Now that's what I call service! Gosh I just love my local Dunkin' I'm going to be sad when I leave..
But eventually the Osterville Dunkin' will learn my order, and probably my name... and I'll learn their life stories.. not a big deal.

Third:
There are four things you need to know before I display the slightly embarassing but none-the-less hilarious conversation between me and my lovely best friend EmBell:

1. She's a Kappa at DePauw and at the beginning of the year the Kappa house had mold problems so the entire sorority had to live in the "Walden" (also known as the only place for parents and siblings to stay when they visit DePauw, because DePauw is located in the middle of nowhere - I'm totally not bitter about it). The upside of EmBell living in the Walden was the fact that she had ... wait for it... NICKELODEON. Which us other DePauw students are not blessed with. So after class she and I would spend countless hours watching this lovely channel and our favorite show soon became "Big Time Rush" now if you haven't watched it before? OH DEAR, It is one of the best "teen" (?) shows out there. I may or may not have fallen madly in love with Logan and Kendall on the show.. precious. Just precious.

2. EmBell and I have the exact same sense of humor - slightly dry and ridden with sarcasm. Thus, we get along splendidly.

3. She and I spend a great deal of time mocking how "popular" we are and how all members of the male species can't help but love us... specifically frat boys (hahahah such a stretch. we know)

JoBros.. Gotta love 'em.
4. EmBell has been dating her current boyfriend, Herb, for four years (YES. Count 'em, four. I'm so impressed) and for some strange reason she and he were in many of my dreams at the beginning of the semester (I'm not a total creep. I promise - My brain just works in a very strange way)
One dream being that me, EmBell, and her boyfriend were all best friends with the JoBros (Jonas Brothers for you all who have not spent countless hours watching their show on the Disney Channel) and the six of us shared a large bag of Cool Ranch Doritos (my guilty pleasure.. or one of my many guilty pleasures..)

With those four things in mind.. here is the embarrassing, hilarious, and extremely telling of our friendship, conversation she and I had yesterday.. (thank god for iPhone screen shots!) I'm in the green, btws!

....So there you have it. EmBell and I are slightly weird, but we embrace it!
Hope you got a bit of a laugh out of that :)

Have a lovely lovely lovely weekend!

Until next time friends,

Ps: Title of post? Courtesy of this song:
Don't judge. It's the perfect summer jam!
Oh and, Lil' Rob? He totally has the best dance moves ever in this video.
I'm gonna try that hand move that he repeats OVER and OVER at my next party.

You know it's a good morning when..

Since it's summer time - every morning (or, almost every morning) I wake up and find my way to Dunkin' Donuts... I order a nice large french vanilla iced coffee with extra skim and two splenda..
(my guilty pleasure #sorryimnotsorry)

Usually this little baby costs me $2.38 and I always have my coins and cash ready to go - who wants to be that person that holds up the rest of the line trying to count their pennies? NOT me.

So today I woke up at a nice late hour of 10:45AM (a girl needs her beauty sleep.. ha) and wandered to Dunkin'... and of course! My favorite guy was working.
We usually chat about jewelry (he doesn't like to flaunt his style through flashy clothes - he likes wearing fun necklaces and rings..Yes. I am this good of friends with the people who work there) and how much he has to work this week. But today he told me ALL about the wedding he's attending on Friday night.. and how he plans on getting "wasted beyond wasted" hahahaha ONLY I would meet these people.

Regardless.. I was standing in line, chatting with him with my $2.38 in hand.. as I notice he's spending an extra long time on the cash register and me being me... well, I start to feel awkward.
NEXT THING YOU KNOW: he says that my order today will be 99 cents.
Well hot damn. My new best friend likes me enough to give me his discount!
And THAT, my friends, is how you know it's a good morning.

On another note, a just as guilty pleasure note:
(because, yes, it is summer and I'm taking pride in the fact that I currently have NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING to do with my life)
This goes out to all with iPhones (Love my BBerry users, but I just don't think you have this.)

I know we all pass the tabloid section of Target or the grocery store and think "If only I had the three dollars I already spent on iced coffee to buy a trashy magazine!"
Or don't we all love it when a friend tries to show off her celeb gossip and you can quickly retort with a "Oh, yah I already knew Justin and Selena were seen having some major PDA at an NBA game."

(Yup. I do love Jelena.)

Well this is the greatest thing to hit the iPhone since WordsWithFriends..
(My WWF name is Aeskel1 PLAY ME PLAY ME PLAY ME!)
the People Celeb News app.

This gem  will be the best two dollars you EVER spend, I PROMISE.

I'll be honest.. I lay in my bed every morning and you know, do the usual: roll around in my covers, make a couple animal noises, lament the fact that all my friends are busy, and check out the newest People stories and pictures.. duhz.

Personal favorite part of this app? The daily StartTracks photo albums.. I just can't get enough of the precious Reese Witherspoon or Leo DiCaprio and Blake Lively (How precious would their children be!?).

All in all.
If you haven't made best friends with the workers at your local Dunkin' Donuts: Get on it.
If you don't already own the People app: It will change your life

Now go out and have a lovely lovely Wednesday!

Until next time friends,

Where in the world..

Have I been?
What a great question... here are a few answers:
A. Stranded in a foreign country drinking exotic drinks
B. Sleeping my life away
C. In search of Waldo AND Carmen San Diego
D. Studying magic at Hogwarts
E. With the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their honeymoon
...Feel free to take your pick!

I prefer D & E, but thats only my opinion haha

But really - where the heck have I been?
What a great question. I could tell you I've been doing one of the wonderful things listed above - or possibly something even more exciting! But the answer is, I've been doing NOTHING and it's felt wonderful!

I'm not sure if it was the stress of finals and the end of school - but I just had to retire for a bit! I hope no one is too upset, or stopped following! I'd feel terrible - and I apologize profusely.
But finally, my best friends have berated me enough with messages such as:
"Annie, are you aware you haven't posted on your blog in ages?"
or, from Swimmer Smanger:
"Write a new freaking blog post....Oh my god woman. Damn. I'm clearly getting impatient"
(if you can't tell - she really misses me hahaha)
...That I've decided I must embrace my blog once again and now that I'm back and typing this post I've realized how much I've missed it!

Now I've got a great deal to catch you all up on since I've been MIA...but I think that will come tomorrow since I've got a lot to do today, never fear though! There will be posts every day (...or at least every other day haha) for the rest of the summer :)
Once I get to the Cape (June 22nd and it couldn't come sooner!) I will have tons to write about - so that's always something to look forward too!

For now I will leave you with this summer mantra:

Until next time friends,

(Ps: I'm SO glad to be back :))
