So..About that..

I'm just going to come right out - state the obvious and say what everyone else has been thinking..
I've been gone for over three weeks - what the HECK have I been doing?
Well see.. I'm not sure if I have a perfectly good excuse for this absence - except for the fact that school has taken over my entire life (well except for the time that I spend sleeping.. because I LOVE sleep.)
And since I can't begin to apologize enough... I thought I'd just share a few picz of my life over the past few weeks to catch y'all up on my life.

So. I hope everyones ready for the photo post of the century becuzz hurr it comezz
(Yes, I did think nautical letters/symbols would just be perfect for lettering this post #donthate)

I received a photo of my Cape house or Tir Na Nog, as we so affectionately call it, from my friends parents who were touring the cape for their anniversary...

Let me just tell you how completely jealooose I was/am about the fact that they were there during the fall. Musta been B-E-A-UTIFUL.
I'd point out which room I sleep in... But that'd be slightly creepy. #sorryboutcha

Shortly after, I was texted classic advice from my cousin Tory. So inspirational cuz! You're the best. "Eat my vegetables"? Where do you come up with such motivational advice!? I'll never forget it ha...
Mind you she's 26 and I'm the baby of the family, so it's only fitting that as the older cousin she feels the need to give me really great advice hahaha - Also. On the DL, of course, think she thinks she's funnier than me. Now lets be real - There can only be one funny cousin in the family and I have worn that crown proudly for years, even if I am the baby. Hmpf.

Celebrated one of my roommates 21st birthdays!

Congrats AshBash, you can now legullyy drank as much vokaa as you want! WOO HOO isn't that all anyone wants in life?
Okay. maybe not.

The next week I celebrated yet another 21st...
(gotta love the 21st birthday season)
Buttt this one was of my best friend SURRABOO.
It was great fun, we went out at midnight the night before - I got to go out in Bloomington and her boyfriend so graciously paid for all of my drinks that night. Thanks GBFF (insider with me and the besties BF. nbd)
In return I totally taught him some great photo poses.. Hence really precious way we're positioned.

Okay, so it really seems like all I did was party and celebrate things.. but I swear school was strewn about during this!

THUUHHNN came Monon Bell Week(end) at DePauw...
...and for those of you who don't know what this is (which I'm guessing is most of you lovely readers..) It's the biggest football game of the year for us, against our rivals the Little Giants (Oxymoron.. I know.) of Wabash (you can click on the link for a "real" definition of Monon Bell)
CANN I just take a moment for the fact that this is an all boys college? So DPU boys obviously make it a point to let the Wabash boys know that they have girls in the class rooms and Wabash doesn't. Classic argument, right?
Nevertheless - Swimmer smanger and I spent the tailgate at the only place we know how to party.. or what we simply refer to as our second home..  The Beta Theta Pi house, or their tailgate.
Pulled pork sandwiches, booze, drunk parents, music, Tiger apparel, and Solo cups! What more could a girl ask for.... (maybe some cute boys in bow-ties? hmm.. Get on it DePauw fellas.)

In even further celebration of Monon... everyone goes out every night starting on Wednesday, or Monday for those who are bold enough. So naturally, since we're such hard partiers (Nahht), Swimmer Smanger and I went out on Friday hahaha and I got my own solo photo-shoot thanks to Wedding Watcher.
EDIT: I just now realized that try 5 and 6 are the same.. lets just pretend that if you could see the photo up close it's dramatically different? #peoplemakemistakes

What were some memories from that Friday night...
...you might ask? Well since this is the biggest weekend of the year at DPU people from all over come to party with us (because we're just THAT fantastic..) So of course I would run into people from my HS who don't go to DePauw.. even better? Yes, yes. This is the boy that I got my first kiss from.. kewwtt, I know.
Cannn you say christmas card? But really, we were pretty serious back then, I mean I think we lasted a whole two weeks, and he migghht have even bought me ice cream...once. GASP. I know ladies, scandalous.

FF to Thanksgiving break...

Sara and I OBVIOUSLY had to go to the bars for Black-Out Wednesday (And here you can find out the "definition" of Black Out Wednesday as my mother so nicely shared...)  While out Sara and I clearly decided iPhone photos were an extremely important part of the night:
Exhibit A: A picture of Sara dancing alone and everyone pointing..
Exhibit B: A picture just the two of us
Exhibit C: A picture of Sara's broken Stuart Weitzman heels.
(I so kindly helped her rip off the actual heel of the
shoes - yes, she broke both shoes - so she could turn them into flats for the
rest of the night.. Aren't I SUCH a great friend? haha)

Thanksgiving Day...
I was only slightly hung over, but it got better because...I got to meet kittenzz, and c'mon who's day doesn't immediately improve at the sight of cute tiny creatures!? I tried to convince my dad to let me take one home. He said, and I quote,
"Annie. They grow up into cats. Cats are ugly. If before we leave you can find a way to keep it a cute kitten for the rest of its life. Then sure. Let's take it home."
And as much as I hate to admit it, I totally and completely failed at that task.

Dennn Sara Lindsye and I naturally went to the tree lighting downtown...

we took a feew friends with us. Aka: Sara's boyfriend and her brother.

We also all wore the same colored boots - coincidence? I think not. Welcome to the BFF CLUBB LADiEZ.

INTERRUPTION OF THIS POST: REALLY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - but actually. I found a huge blister on the bottom of my foot! ... and I'm being totally honest when I say I have NO idea how it got there. Embarrassing. I'll thank my bar shoes for that one.

After seeing the tree lighting ... my family totally had to go get our own tree - I know, I know, its really early for that but I won't be back home for three weeks and that seems sad to put up a tree seven days before christmas. Plus my parents wouldn't have my exceptionally beautiful and rare decorating skills if they got it without me there. Such a lose-lose for them. #worldsbestdaughter #officialchristmastreedecorator

And last but not least - to wrap up how I spent my time away from this lovely blog - I went shopping, of course. But I'll have to include those tomorrow because some how this post has taken me an extremely long time to write. Figures-When I have things to get done it always takes longer. Totally a curse and blessing at the same time.

BUT I PROMISE PROMISE, EVEN PINKY PROMISE A POST TOMORROW. I've already got it prepared, so I won't let you down!

Until tomorrow!

It's official, I need to come party with you. I want your "Cape house" (I have so much to learn). I think I'm going to start taking more iPhone pictures in honor of how much I love all of yours. I need to get a vest and wear it with a flannel.

The end.
Welcome back!! :)
