Oh HAY Monday..

It's back again.. Monday.
And I'm still in school, but it's fine. Everyone else is just out frolicking in the lovely sunshine while I sit in the library and contemplate my life decision to go to college.. Just kidding... but really.

First I'd like to take a moment to share some devastating news from this past weekend.
DePauw's campus lost one of its most vibrant and beloved first-years, Marshall Matthew.
He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and a wonderful friend.
He gave the best hugs in the entire world and had a smile and laugh that could make the entire room he was in, smile and laugh along with him. It was sad news hearing about his passing and I wish his family the best with my thoughts and prayers being sent their way.
I don't quite know how to respond seeing as he and I had spoken only days before his death and he seemed as happy as a clam.
I guess thats the lesson behind all of this,
Everyone has their own problems that we may know nothing about, what we see on the surface is only a part of who a person is,

So at a time like this remember:

"Everyone is fighting their own battle,
To be free from their past,
To live in their present,
and to create their future,
So have heart."

On a lighter note..
(I know, it was depressing to start off a post that way but I just had to get it out there!)

Summer is SO close I can taste it and I'm counting down the days... 4 of them left!

AND remember how on my "What I'm Loving Wednesday" list I had I wanted to see Something Borrowed?
Well my wishes came true! It was a rainy Sunday yesterday, so Sara Lindsye and I headed over to the theater to see the 3:20 showing.. I swear it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
From the beginning to the end I was on the edge of my seat.
(I didn't read the book so I didn't know exactly what was going to happen.. #guiltyascharged)

I loved Ginnifer Goodwin, she is just a precious precious actress and played her role seamlessly - she had me rooting for her throughout the entire movie. As Sara said, "You just want her to end up happy!"(Sidenote: I'll admit it, I hated her hair throughout the entire movie. It was just not working for me.. it was very obvious that she was wearing a wig...Awkward..)
PS: How absolutely FIERCE does she look here? Not to mention green is my favorite color..

I also thought they picked the PERFECT actor for Dex, Colin Egglesfield. Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he does a wonderful job playing a sensitive douchebag throughout the beginning of the movie.

Not to forget the HUH-LARRY-OUS John Krasinksi. Once again, he stole the show playing the sarcastic yet sensitive side kick/bestfriend to Ginnifer Goodwin. I have to admit his witty commentary MAY have made the movie what it is... #lovehim

I didn't so much love Kate Hudson because she seemed to play the exact same role she played in Bride Wars but you know what, if thats what she's good at then more power to her! I just didn't love her.
Regardless, I plan on buying this one on DVD #sorryimnotsorry AND watching it over and over. If you haven't seen it already the drag your closest girlfriends to the nearest theater and watch it!
WARNING: Bring tissues. Although I'm VERY in touch with my emotions so I cry at anything... I guarantee you will shed at least one tear, whether it be happy or sad.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday
and wish me luck while I pray this doesn't happen to me:

Until next time!

PS: This movie may look exactly like No Strings Attached, but Sara and I agreed (right after seeing the preview in the theater for Something Borrowed, of course) that we'd see it anyway.
PLUS it's the mom from Easy A one of my FAVORITE movies.
"Are we getting too old for this?"
"SEX?"
"No, casual sex - it seems so collegy"
"I could sing some third eye blind?"
... lawlz

I can't WAIT to see this movie now! I haven't read the book either, but I'll probably want to after I see it. Good luck with your last bit of school! You can make it :)
